Arriving in Petersburg the day before your adventure aboard Sundance, you can store your gear, and explore the quaint fishing town of Petersburg. After dining ashore you can settle into your berth for the coming voyage.
Departing Petersburg, we anchor off the entrance to Le Conte Glacier, where you will kayak & skiff among the icebergs, keeping a lookout for seals & Orcas. After we leave the glacier we transit the narrow & scenic Wrangell Narrows. We then head westward in Sumner Straits to anchor for the evening off the fishing village of Point Baker, a haven for the summer fleet of gill netters that fish the area, for a experience of southeast Alaska as it used to be.
