Captain William Petrich has been safely sailing Alaska’s Inside Passage for over 45 years. Born into generations of seafarers, Captain Petrich enjoys imparting his knowledge of Alaska and his navigational experience to each guest. He welcomes you onto the bridge and is always ready with a good story!
Capt. Petrich has held a master license for 25 years, and is trained and certified in first aid and CPR.
Wayne Mitchell was born & raised in Alaska and enjoys sharing his 34 years of Alaska exploration with each new guest aboard the Sundance. A graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a degree in anthropology, Wayne loves to engage in all things Alaskan and share his knowledge of Alaska Native art, culture, and history.
Wayne is first aid, CPR, and AED certified, and holds a certification for safe small boat operation by the USCG.
